He is a Music producer, Song writer, Psalmist, Entertainment Consultant and CEO of Zamar Entertainment and Sammie Okposo Hope Initiative His Music career started in 1992 when he joined the Nigerian Movie Industry as a sound Track Producer and later Ventured into full Music production.

In the year 2000 he took the African music scene to another level with the release of his debut album titled Unconditional Love. The hit track of the album “WELU-WELU” gained a lot of local and international popularity so much so that in 2004, Sammie was invited to perform at the Martin Luther King Day and July 4th Independence day Celebration respectively by the American ambassador to Nigeria.
Sammie with his 12 piece band “D X Generation” are labelled as one of the most electrifying and inspiring Groups in Africa. His SOPP Live Concerts has become the favourite of music lovers globally.
His music has won him not only a wide audience and critical acclaim, but also numerous awards in appreciation of his works, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, ADDICTED, NO MORE DRAMA and his latest album THE STATEMENT which was co produced by 10 time Grammy Awards winning producer Kevin Bond.
Songs from his previous albums “wellu wellu, Naija Praise, Good God, Na only you I know, *Who tell you Say*, *No Wahala Only Hallelujah*, *SYP* (sing your praise),are already making waves and trending worldwide. New singles like; “A Prayer” feat Nathaniel Bassey, Gabriel Eziashi and Andrew Bello, Oghene Doh feat Jonathan Nelson, Ome-mma feat Ntokozo Mbambo, Oluwa e’tobi feat Kike Mudiaga, A marvellous Thing are also part of his 5th Album ‘Saved with Amazing Grace’[[SWAG] released on October 1st 2017.

Sammie Okposo is happily married to his wife, Ozioma Sammie Okposo.
